On September 26th, a day that holds deep personal meaning for Khandro-la as the anniversary of her beloved son, Mani, Dakini's Whisper warmly invites you to join khandro-la in turning our hearts toward the world. We will be coming together for a special gathering: Bodhicitta Day – The Power of Bodhicitta.
As we look at the current state of our world—marked by deep divisions, environmental anxiety, global conflicts, and a pervasive sense of uncertainty—it is so easy to feel overwhelmed or helpless. Yet, the spiritual teachings offer us a profound and active antidote to despair.
What is the response to such times? The great 8th-century master Shantideva tells us it is bodhicitta—the altruistic, courageous intention to attain full awakening for the benefit of all sentient beings.
During this gathering, we will reflect on the first chapter of Shantideva’s timeless masterpiece, the Bodhicaryavatara (A Guide to the Bodhisattva's Way of Life).…
