Join us on the auspicious day of CHOKHOR DUCHEN for a profound and transformative online event!
Chokhor Duchen commemorates when the Buddha first turned the Wheel of Dharma and bestowed the foundational teachings upon the world. The First Turning includes his teachings on the Four Noble Truths and the Noble Eightfold Path—from here, we prepare ourselves to enter the Mahayana. The holiday is also a merit-multiplying day when the karma of all positive actions is multiplied by 100 million times!
In this day and age of confusion and complexity, adopting the Five Precepts serves as a powerful personal commitment to ethical conduct and mental purification. Upon the students' request, Khandro-la will be offering these vows to those committing to the awakening journey of bodhicitta, just before she departs for Japan.
