Join us for a special online event featuring “Recognizing My Mother: An Experiential Song on the View,” also translated as “Recognizing Emptiness – The Mother: A Song on the Experience of the Middle Way View” by Chanakya Rölpai Dorjé. This poetic, deeply experiential teaching reveals the ultimate nature of reality—emptiness—through the intimate metaphor of recognizing one’s own mother.
Written in the style of a personal song of realization, the text captures the culmination of profound meditative insight. The “mother” symbolizes the wisdom of realizing emptiness—the heart of the Madhyamaka view. With vivid imagery and precision, the song guides us through the process of cutting through conceptual elaborations and resting in the luminous, ungraspable nature of mind.
