About White Mahakala

Within the Geluk school, White Mahakala is revered as a deity of the Kriya Tantra (Action Tantra) class. This profound practice shares its core motivation with its Shangpa roots: White Mahakala is an emanation of Chenrezig (Avalokiteshvara) who is relied upon to bring abundance and peace.

By participating in this sadhana, practitioners aim to:

• Pacify the suffering of spiritual and material poverty.

• Attract the material and spiritual resources necessary to focus entirely on the Dharma.
