GUIDANCE AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PARTICIPANTS:
Hosted by TARA ROSE, Washington, D.C.
These requests and suggestions are intended to deepen your retreat experience and help our weekend together flow:
Most importantly, you are on retreat -- even if on-line. Think about this as a residential annual retreat with the intention to create the inner and outer space and boundaries for a retreat experience.
Observe silence as much as possible.
Stay present while on-line. Being intentionally focused online sometimes can be difficult and yet it also impacts how you, and potentially others, experience the Retreat.
With respect to our teacher and each other, please observe these Zoom courtesies.
- Arrive 5-10 mins early so you are ready when Khandro-la arrives.
- Keep your audio MUTED unless speaking.
- Indicate your name as your Zoom name so we can be clear who is with us.
- Use the hand wave function (part of Zoom platform) during sharing and Q&A time or write your questions in the Chat Box. (Click the Chat Box. Otherwise, it won't show automatically).
- We ask that you not share the link with others who have not registered.
If you have any technical problems, please contact Ellen at email@example.com.
For general questions, contact Ellen at firstname.lastname@example.org.
