For centuries, ever since the time of the historical Buddha, devoted practitioners have embarked on nekhor—sacred pilgrimages to the very sites where enlightened deities and great masters once walked. A pilgrimage is so much more than travel; it is a profound, transformative practice. It is an invitation to step entirely outside the momentum of our daily routines, to deeply connect with the heart of our lineage, to purify our minds, and to generate immense merit. Outside of India, the great spiritual heartlands of these journeys are Tibet, China, and Mongolia. Together, these realms embody the Three Lords of the World: Avalokitesvara in Tibet, Manjushri in China, and Vajrapani in Mongolia. The masters of our own ear-whispered lineages traversed these very lands on foot. They walked to deepen their own realizations and to bless these sacred environments for future devotees—devotees like us.

Today, Dakini’s Whisper is incredibly excited to begin envisioning a rare, powerful, and truly extraordinary journey of our own. We are planning a profound pilgrimage to China—specifically to Mount Wutaishan, the breathtaking sacred abode of Manjushri—and onward to the vast, spiritual landscapes of Mongolia, the historical land of the Khalkha Jetsun Dampas.

This will be a once-in-a-lifetime spiritual adventure. In addition to walking in the footsteps of past masters at these deeply blessed sites, we will have the precious opportunity to receive intimate teachings from Khandro-la and other high lamas in Mongolia, forging an unforgettable, living connection to our ear-whispered lineage.

While the exact dates are not yet set, we are tentatively looking toward June and July of 2028. A journey of this magnitude requires tremendous planning and the beautiful alignment of many causes and conditions. Before we finalize the details, we want to share this vision with you and hear your thoughts.
