Embodying Tsongkhapa’s View in the Modern World
Sun, Mar 15, 1 - 3 pm PDT
After ten months, we have walked the systematic path of the Wisdom Section of Lamrim Chenmo, guided by the clarity of Je Tsongkhapa and the accessible wisdom of Guy Newland’s Introduction to Emptiness, we have reached a milestone. We have deconstructed the "object of negation" and begun to appreciate the profound depth of the Middle Way. To celebrate the completion of our journey, we invite the guide who made it possible—Guy Newland—to help us transition from the page to the heart.
This 2-hour interactive event is an entry point into a living lineage. We will explore how Tsongkhapa’s profound insights shine through the Western psyche, transforming our modern identities into a River of Blessings.
Keynote & Interactive Dialogue Focus:
The Bridge to Experience: How to move from "spinning intellectual gears" to a felt, experiential shift where analysis truly softens the ego’s grip.
The Western Mirror: Examining how the refutation of a self-existent "I" can heal the specific fixations and psychological habits of the modern West.
Emptiness in the Everyday: Practical ways to "wear" the view of emptiness—turning philosophical understanding into a source of fierce, spacious compassion in 21st-century life.
