Join us for our special event that offers an uplifting and transformative experience, inspired by the life and message of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Through reflection, storytelling, short teachings, meditation, music, and joyful interaction, we will explore how to embody compassion, wisdom, and our innate Buddha nature in everyday life.
Event Flow
1. Welcome & Dedication
Opening greeting and intention-setting
Short dedication honoring H.H. the Dalai Lama’s life and legacy
Reading or brief clip of His Holiness’s birthday message
2. Storytelling & Reflection
“A Life of Compassion in Action” — a brief storytelling segment highlighting key moments of H.H.’s life, emphasizing his message of compassion, nonviolence, and universal responsibility
Invite reflection: What does universal responsibility mean to you?
3. Guided Meditation: Awakening Innate Compassion
A gentle meditation to rest in awareness and open the heart
Focus on loving-kindness, self-compassion, and extending it outward
Include a short visualization of light and warmth flowing through and from the heart
4. Experiential Practice: Compassion in Motion
A brief, joyful body-based activity (such as a Dakini subtle movement or mudra sequence) to embody spaciousness and heartfulness
Option: short mantra chanting together with movement
5. Dialogue & Sharing Circle
Breakout or open group discussion: “How can we embody compassion in our daily lives in the midst of challenges?” “What inspires you about H.H. the Dalai Lama’s teachings?”
Each participant shares one small way they will commit to practicing compassion in daily life.
6. Group Offering: Collective Prayer or Song
Recite The Prayer for the Long Life of H.H. the Dalai Lama together
Optional: end with a joyful group chant or song
Light a candle or offer symbolic gesture of light and peace to the world. Love this!

Invite participants to enjoy tea/snack together virtually or in person, celebrating in joy and connection
