Citipati (The Lord of the Charnel Ground) - Transmission & Practice

You are cordially invited to a special event focusing on the Citipati, the Lord of the Charnel Ground, an eminent protector deity in Tibetan Buddhism. This initiation, transmission, and accomplishing practice is exclusively available to selected members hand-picked by Khandro-la.

The Citipati, also known as the Kinkara Couple, are protectors of graveyards or charnel grounds and prominent figures in the Highest Yoga Tantra, particularly within the Mother Tantra, Chakrasamvara, Vajrayogini, and Chö practices. These skeletal deities, emanations of Chakrasamvara and Vajrayogini, play a crucial role in enhancing and realizing our inseparability with the yidam.

The couple, Shri Shmashana Adhipati, symbolizes the eternal dance of death and the cyclical nature of existence. They are invoked to help practitioners overcome the fear of death and understand the transient nature of life.
