“Since the trulkhor (magical wheel) comes from what I am,

it feels extremely good.”

- Jetsun Milarepa (11th-12th century)

The movement or posture, known as TSA LUNG TRUL KHOR (“magical movements of channels and energy wind currents”) is intended to work directly with the subtle body in the advanced practice of the Tibetan Tantric tradition. There are many lineages and traditions of this rather demanding high-level practice of yogis and yoginis.

Honoring the auspiciousness of embarking on the one-year pilgrimage of the KECHARA JOURNEY starting in June, Dakini’s Whisper will venture into some movements of TRUL KHOR that have been transmitted by the masters of the ear-whispered lineage.

MAGICAL WHEEL will bring together breath work, visualization, mantra chanting, meditation, and human heart qualities with these physical movements to come to a deeper understanding of the nature of body and mind. In addition, some movements of subtle body training will be adapted as variations of TRUL KHOR for modern-day practitioners who still can get benefits from them according to their physical level. We will also learn theoretical aspects of view regarding the nature of body and mind along with meditation. These precious teachings will help us to have precision on the map of the inner body to move into inner yoga while maintaining relaxation during the movement.

As Milarepa describes, these magical movement exercises will eventually lead us to our natural state of bliss, luminosity, and non-conceptuality since they are the natural expressions of our experience, who and what we are.
